1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SaveContext ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

SaveContext is operated by Shane Monastero ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). These terms apply to all users of the Service.

2. Description of Service

SaveContext provides persistent context management for AI coding assistants. The Service allows developers to save, retrieve, and manage context across coding sessions via MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly update any changes to your information
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Use automated systems to access the Service beyond API limits

5. Subscription and Payment

SaveContext offers free and paid subscription tiers. For paid subscriptions:

  • Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice
  • You are responsible for all applicable taxes

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

6. Data Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the data you store in SaveContext ("Customer Data"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide and improve the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to store any data in the Service.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We are not liable for any service interruptions, data loss, or damages resulting from your use of the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your data after a reasonable retention period.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
